AJ can usually say his T sounds until he trys to say the word "taffy." Taffy becomes "caffy" . So the other day Gregg said to AJ, "Say T- T- Taffy". So he repeated perfectly "T- T- Caffy." We'll keep working on it!
No worries, AJ. I feel your pain. Everyone in my family loves to tell the story when I was even older than you and I was listening to a phonics record. The man was asking us to sound out cat and so I said, "c-a-t." Mom asked, "What's that spell?" "DOG!" It gets easier as you get older. Stick with it. Soon you'll be talking about stomach acid and the digestive tract with your siblings.
