The Red Chair

A meltdown occurred at lunchtime today. AJ wanted to sit at the kitchen counter with Cosette. In order for AJ to reach the counter, I put him in the red chair (it's like a booster seat with steps). Ok, so what's the problem? That red chair has been Cosette's since she was two. That's the problem! (It was Dwight's red chair before that.) Cosette does NOT want to give it up. Her latest solution, "I'm going to Missouri to live with Grandma and Grandpa Meyr and I'm taking the red chair with me!"
