It's better to give than receive
Cosette has been very busy the past two days. Constantly hiding out in her room, I only see her when she comes out with the finished product, gifts for Gregg and me. Lots of cutting, pasting and taping go into making these lovely works of art. Proudly, she even wraps them for us in her own unique way. :) Today when she presented me with my 5th gift she said, "Do you want me to read you the card I wrote to you and dad?" "OK," I said. In a very serious voice she began, "Dear mom and dad, Happy Anniversary, whenever that is . . ."

Oh, Cosette, you're so sweet. DeAnn, you'd better hold on to some of these cards - or at least write about them in that infamous book of our children's quotes we're supposed to have.
