Cookies

Cosette, AJ and I baked chocolate chip cookies today. I told them if they ate well at lunch, they could have a cookie for dessert. AJ finished quickly but Cosette still had some food left on her plate. Since I got a cookie out for AJ, I automatically set one on Cosette's plate too. I guess she didn't notice me doing it because the next thing I heard was "Oh Mom, you are the sneakiest mom I've ever had. How did you get that cookie on my plate? You are like magic!" Too bad they soon realize that parents aren't so magical after all.
