Mimi watched AJ today while I was teaching Kindergartners how to not run in the hallway and how to not pick your nose. (USE A TISSUE, PLEASE?) Ok, I feel better now.
Mimi is really good at keeping track of quotes from my children.
Here are a few from today:
Mimi and AJ, eating pancakes, some of which were a bit overbaked.
Mimi: "Schmeckt das dir?" That's German for does it taste good to you? Now you can answer in German, "Ja, das schmeckt." That means Yes, it tastes good.
AJ: How do you say "burnt" in that?

AJ: Oh, poop!
Mimi: AJ, I don't think your mother allows you to say that.
AJ: Well, I was just quoting.
Cosette: She doesn't let us quote.
