Camp Mimi Splash Lab - Day 4 - (Finale)

We learned water is called H20 because it has two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen.
An egg sinks in plain water.
If you increase the density of water with salt, voila! The egg floats.
We practiced the art of the siphon. (It comes in handy to empty a hot tub.) Siphoning is more fun if the water is colored.
Guess what color all the colors make together? Icky brown.
Relay race--carrying water balloons to our buckets. Carefully. :)
With bits of PVC pipe, (left over from neighbor's sprinkler system)
plus Ts and elbows, we created a wonderful fountain.
Mimi encouraged the "hydro-engineers" on their water system project.
When the water shot up the tall pipe, Dwight shouted, "Yay! We're plumbers!
While we finished our day with watery free play, the Cuisinart churned some ice cream for our finale treat.
Thank You Mimi-you are the best camp leader ever!

Dwight, next time my drain needs cleaning, I'm calling you as my plumber.
