The week of January 21-25 was Life Week at our school. We talked about Creation and our Creator, made family trees and thanked God for the gift of life.
The highlight of the week for most of the students was the display of babies at different stages of developement in the uterus. The kids were amazed. They held them and touched them and thought they were remarkable since they were the correct size and weight.
When the week ended, the display was taken down. One of my Kindergartners was especially sad to see the babies had disappeared and asked Cosette about it. Cosette answered, "My teacher put those away. We're done with life."
