We saw a video called Dinosaur Bones, and studied ammonites and trilobites.
One of our big eggs hatched! It had twin babies and they are growing. While we went through the Time Tunnel and hunted dinosaurs, another egg hatched--3 baby dinos!
We made a thank you note to send Great Aunt Vivian for the dino pillows cases she made for us.
All the papier mache is on our volcano now. It looks realistic.
Snack was a frozen triceratops nose horn and more swamp water.
Yum!
We had camp counselors today, Dwight and Cosette. They helped on our projects.
Elizabeth painted a maiasaura, Montana's state dino. It means "Good Mother Lizard."
AJ painted a huge T-Rex head.
William made a triceratops. Tomorrow the big heads get more details and their eyes.
We dug for bones and found lots of interesting ones,
and some fossils buried in a sand bank.
We washed them and used tweezers to sort them by size.

How fun! I bet the kids are really loving those dinosaurs. Are you a participant as well, Deann?
