Las Vegas

Gregg wanted to do something special for my birthday. (For some reason, turning 40 is a big deal.) So we hopped on a plane and took a little vacation to Vegas. (without the kids thanks to mom and dad Meyr).
The strip in all its hot (like 110 degree hot) glory. Bring it! We walked (the strip is very deceptive-casinos look closer than they really are) a ton over the course of 4 days, which is great since we ate a ton over the course of 4 days too.
We stayed at the Tropicana. It was a lovely hotel.
My first Mojito-ever. I don't get out much.
I was a bit spoiled and I liked it. Sparkling Wine and Chocolate Covered Strawberries for me? Why thank you very much.
Who knew?Paris on the strip. The Arc De Triomphe is a bit crooked. Please forgive me.
Thanks to this guy, I had a great vacation.
Paris is amazing. It was surreal.
 OOO LA LA-Bananas Foster Crepe
The Venetian-another fabulous hotel. We saw The Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian then dined at Bouchon, a fabulous French restaurant.
Life without a delicious salad really isn't worth living.
Roasted Chicken
Steak Frites
Caesar's Palace and what a palace it is.
Frozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity 3 at Caesar's Palace
The Bellagio, another amazing hotel, has a beautiful indoor botanical garden.
and beautiful outdoor fountains. Viva Las Vegas was playing at the time of this picture.
I can't get over how ornate and beautifully decorated each and every hotel/casino is on the strip. It's ridiculous. Even the bathrooms are to die for-I know-I went to each and everyone. When in Vegas...
Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge at New York New York at night. Sorry for all the random strangers in the picture. :)
I had to take a picture of this elevator for Garrison at the Coca-Cola Store.
Vegas was spectacular. I think we'll be going again someday. :)

It looks like a wonderful time! I didn't realize it was a special birthday this year. Everything gets better with each new year. At least that is what I hear :) Happy Birthday again.
